The Medical Laboratory Technology, Emergency Medical Science, Medical Assisting, Therapeutic Massage, and Phlebotomy programs utilize a first-come, first-served basis until the cap is reached. Once the clinical classes are filled, additional students will be placed on a waiting list. If seats become available, the next student on the list will be offered a clinical space. The minimum admissions requirements, specific to each program, must be completed before a student can be considered for a clinical slot.
Medical Laboratory Technology, Emergency Medical Science, and Therapeutic Massage begin clinical classes in the Fall semester only. Phlebotomy and Medical Assisting begin clinical classes both in the Fall and Spring semester.
Please note that Wake Technical Community College is constantly evaluating the admissions procedures and reserves the right to make changes as the need arises.
